Forums - Gaming - Tencent wants to revive Onimusha, Dino Crisis and work with other Capcom titles

They should just go and buy them lol. But I'd be afraid they'd make a shitty console and make them exclusive to it.

Either way capcom has awesome IPs not reaching their current potential.

Well, Tencent probably has money oozing out of every pore.

However, I hope no one is disappointed if this turns out as a Dino Crisis Online MMO that only releases in Asia.

I don't think this means 'revive', but rather put characters from those games into their f2p/moba games.

Those two things would suck so much. If that is the plan, Tencent could go back to wherever they came from.

So they are interested in basically everything...
Well, Nioh is already reviving Onimusha in a way xP

That game could possibly help fill the Onimusha void. :)

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Would love to see Onimusha and Dino Crisis, my mates would also most likely love to see the return of Sengoku Basara. Just don't make it exclusive to a single platform.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I also want to see Dino Crisis back because we need something to make raptors scary again.

Yes, bring Dino Crisis back. ;O

IP is only as good as the people making it and usually when a new studio takes over, it loses something.

Tencent is looking into buying Capcom.

You heard it here first.

I agree with this and it worries me.

I really want those series back. But, as home console titles, not as F2P or MMO trash.
