I still think it will have a decent competitive scene, Nintendo could easily make this into a big esport which I hope they do. Still can't wait for the game

It's a nice way to use the gamepad, but at the same time, it is a bit strange you can't use 2 Hori/Pro Controllers

Somewhat old news, but yeah, this is very odd.

It's like if they made the GameCube adapter for Smash, but it only works with one controller, without any other way to connect an extra.

Sucks for those who want to use the HORI controller but cant you still use the pro controller?

Sounds like you can't, because the game requires you to use two different screens, if you play 2 player vs offline. One player has to use the tiny Gamepad screen, while the other player looks at the TV. This is because the game will change perpective some times in the fight and the camera will be focused behind one of the fighters.

 


That doesn't answer the question.

Old news :p

I think there's a good chance that this year since it's the 20th Pokémon anniversary we might not see only OR/AS and the TCG at the Pokémon World Championships but also some Pokkén tournaments ( :] ), in the end it all depends on how much the game sells , and the sales depend on how many pokémon are in the roster
