Like I said, exclusive bundles tend to work better for the lead platform. When a platform is trailing and doesn't have the mojo for the generation then exclusive stuff for multiplat games just aren't going to have the same effect.

If the Division is all Xb one has to give it a push in march then it won't be enough to give it the NPD win. Xb one one April 2015 partly because it was $50 cheaper and partly because of Batman AA special edition PS4 pre-orders. And it still only managed to sneak in a $10K win. Xb one won October because of Halo 5. Xb one hasn't won a single month because of the power of a 3rd party exclusivity deal. Though with Nov 2015 we'll never know what might have been because PS4 had by far the better 3rd party exclusivity deals. I think MS would need to perhaps make a move on hardware as well, drop the 1TB sku into the $349 price bracket and disestablish the 500GB sku, and sell it at a discount through March. If they did that along with the Division they would win March unless Sony had something similar planned.

Exclusive bundles always seem a good time to buy the opposite console, that is usually why things are close.  Everytime PS4 has a bundle launch, MS add a free game or the exact same bundled game for free.  Sony have been doing this too with a few bundles of late.  So I wouldn't be surprised to see the XB1 1tb Division bundle at $399 against the PS4 Cod bundle plus the Division for $349.  Which one honestly wins that way despite all the adverts?

If Sony actually wanted to do something to counterbalance the Division, which I don't think it actually needs to do. I would think it's a good time to intro a plain 1TB PS4 for $349, and bundle the Division with it for $399. Sony has no reason to undercut what Xb one is charging given they have to pay Ubi full publisher price, and Sony really doesn't need, to be giving games away for which special deals with the publisher have not been arranged. Sony should be transitioning to a 1TB model as standard and a good way to do that is to have 500GB skus with a bundled game and non-bundled 1TBs at the same price, and then eventually move to bundled 1TBs for $349.

500GB really is too small for HDD size.

The Xbox One hasn't really ha any big third party deal outside Advanced Warfare which came out in Nov 2014. Except from FIFA games which arent big in the US and Madden which hasnt had a record of being a system seller.

Dead Rising, Tomb Raider, Titanfall, Fallout and yes FIFA and Madden are big third party deals. Along with AW that 7 off the top of my head. Did they have Ghosts aswell?

You're stretching it a bit with Titanfall and Dead Rising being big, though them being console exclusive does elevate the status moreso than markjeting deals for multiplat titles.. Titanfall wasn't an established franchise, and Dead Rising doesn't reach the Fifa, CoD, Madden level. RoTR and Fallout though are certainly big name franchises.

Dead Rising and Titanfall were big 3rd party deals. Dead Rising is a big franchise while Titanfall was highly anticipated and made by the ex cod people. The same way the destiny, watchdogs and what ever Kojima comes up with next are all big third party deals for Sony. Being a new IP doesn't exclude it from being a big deal.

Tagging again.

You only have to do it once; if you do it again, then you're "it."

He must have too many threads and need a refresh

#32 XB1 Gears Bundle (up 2)

Sony are clearly going to win January and although the numbers overall are likely to decrease, the gap is going to be substantial in my opinion.

reduce the gap in absolute numbers (that is a sure because the gap was almost as big as several monthly numbers) or also on percentage?

I need a refresh, every morning.

You are still young, gribble refresh only once a month

so a question about amazon US. my cousin is going to the states and returning on the 29th of april. Uncharted is coming out on 26th of april. so this means i can order a special edition uncharted.

so if i pre-order from amazon (and not on release day, but like a month earlier) would i get it on the 26th? what are the chances of it getting delayed? its price is listed as 79$ bucks on amazon, are there any additional charges i should be aware of?

I dont know, i never made a Pre-order, because the deals are good only on USA, Europe, Japan, and here we have more than 60% of Import Tax, more the Tax for they take care of the product, and also have a Tax for start the Tax's process, so is really useless import something from other country, here on Brazil.

You have to pay for One day shipping from amazon. As far as i know Best Buy is the only online retailer that does Day One shipping for free.
