Exclusive bundles always seem a good time to buy the opposite console, that is usually why things are close. Everytime PS4 has a bundle launch, MS add a free game or the exact same bundled game for free. Sony have been doing this too with a few bundles of late. So I wouldn't be surprised to see the XB1 1tb Division bundle at $399 against the PS4 Cod bundle plus the Division for $349. Which one honestly wins that way despite all the adverts? |
If Sony actually wanted to do something to counterbalance the Division, which I don't think it actually needs to do. I would think it's a good time to intro a plain 1TB PS4 for $349, and bundle the Division with it for $399. Sony has no reason to undercut what Xb one is charging given they have to pay Ubi full publisher price, and Sony really doesn't need, to be giving games away for which special deals with the publisher have not been arranged. Sony should be transitioning to a 1TB model as standard and a good way to do that is to have 500GB skus with a bundled game and non-bundled 1TBs at the same price, and then eventually move to bundled 1TBs for $349.
500GB really is too small for HDD size.
