Just remember, the monthly and weekly rankings are always four days behind the actual current date, and since Amazon's weeks start on Monday we don't get the first weekly rankings until Thursday of each week and the monthly rankings normally don't show up until the fourth of the month. Also, Amazon typically updates their monthly and weekly rankings every day at around 4:00 PM Eastern time.

 

I know that (that first part at least) Hence why I was thinking "It's thursday, Week 1 final rankings should be up by now"

I think it is a possibility that PS4 will lose a month or two,because of pre-orders,which will ensure a huge win for the PS4 in the following month.

I agree but I'm going to go agaisnt the grain here and say PS4 loses at least one month. It wont be by much but I think they will.

Yes, this is the year it's possible... but as others said, it's not guaranteed, even more when people decide to heavily preorder before a hyped release (like UC4) and give that month to X1, like happened last year.
