the gamecube is awesome when it was released. But a lot of its games can be played now on varies other systems and for cheaper and with better visuals. Like the upcoming Resident Evil collection and the Wii U HD remakes of both Zelda games

The GameCube definitely has some great games, but I haven't used mine (though I know where it is), as I just use the Wii to play GameCube games :p

I have my Gamecube set up in the kitchen lol. Nothing like a few rounds of Double Dash whilst waiting for the potatoes to boil :)

Eternal darkness, metroid, mk double dash and the likes.....I don't think eternal darkness is on any other? Also lots two towers and return of the king are best on the GameCube for me at least. Then the thought of just having it there as a part of history is worth it :) 

I've considered retiring it and getting a Wii for 40 euros, just to make prevent wear on the GameCube. They will be rare in years to come, particularly around Ireland where ps2 sold more per capita than any other nation in the world. I only ever saw one other gc in action.

I remember when I got it, I felt betrayed....nobody had them, but those little discs were so cool. Over the years, once I grew to like it, I never understood why nobody bought them. Great memories :) it's just really funny how a console can be so "uncool" for no reason but it's lie popularity.
