Chris Kohler over at Wired (whilst reporting on the opening of the new Banjo Kazooie website, has indicated that more information on the game (which has seen a drawn-out pr silence) will be out over the next month.

"Anyway, I guess we'll find out a lot more about Banjo in the next month, and that's not so much a "guess" as an "I've heard things.""

I'm really hoping for some in-game footage and some news on what this multiplayer component is going to be. I'm a little fearful they will mess with a good thing.

Same here. While Kameo was decent, it's hard to call it much more than mediocre. I don't have much faith in Rare's ability to produce platformers anymore. I hope they prove me wrong.

 I don't have much faith in Rare as a whole anymore. Buying them was one of Microsoft's worst business decisions in recent memory.

I think the game is going to be good simply because of the people they have on their development team for it.

Yeah I reckon the development team they have makes the games chances of being excellent fairly good. But more than anything, it's one of those titles that Microsoft simply needs to be great. When Microsoft truly needs something, it tends to happen.
