If things like this happen all the time at your company your IT personnel are fucking garbage. My goodness, if this happened at my company with any semblance of regularity we'd be hit with more fines than could be sustained. The integrity of information like this is of utmost importance.

lol I just find it funny how it's always got to be blood for blood, it never makes things even in the end and always keeps the pointless charades going on.

Fact of the matter is they fucked up and are answering for it but they definitely didn't fuck up on the same level Sony did and that's for a service people actually pay for, with this situation those that claimed people bought stuff with their cards were caught lying/didn't provide concrete proof, on Sony's end it was actual proof that their accounts had all been fully compromised and made vulnerable in more ways than one.

Also yeah RROD was also another biggun that screwed over plenty of systems, on PC if a part of your PC died then you simply buy a new part of replace it under warranty.

Hopefully this doesn't happen again.

So further along you're just going to keep ripping on Valve because you sound like you've wanted to rip them for a very long time, a number of people rip them all the time if youc ared to once check Steam discussion boards, they get ripped daily a lot more than Sony, past present and future.

I;m wondering just how long you plan on ripping Valve, I feel you're just going to rip them at every corner you see because you have some personal vendetta against them (even before the cache you threw down and used MS as a staple which shows stemmed hate), otherwise I'd love to see the daily rippings at every turn on everyone else and I know by strike 2 that it's just not going to happen is it?.

Valve does act smart though, just not to your design, not even the EA and Sony of old remain today and you know this, everyone changes and no one ever truly remains the same so lets not bring "old days" into a reality that has long since passed.

@Bold No they just plain suck now and deservedly so. Their not any different from the others (EA, Ubisoft, CD Projekt RED, & etc.) so I feel no need to worship them anymore. I'll practice my options on PC by not locking myself down to Valve as my online game retailer ...  

Both Sony and EA have much more in common with their past selves than Valve does. Valve first started as game developers (not retailers) and Steam was initially a client meant to only patch their own games but what I see is a betrayer to their own roots ... (Valve changed alright and not for the better I think.) 

No you think they suck due to your own perception while millions don't think they suck and non deservedly so. Sony/MS/Nintendo aren't any different either and yet I don't see you ripping them on a daily basis or at every corner, you claim they have their time but it seems you have all the time in the world for Valve =P.

You must tell me of the hundreds of games your purchased on all those other clients sometime, I wonder who your most used client would be because that will dictate who you think is more worth your time.

Nah not really, I see EA still fucking up every now and then, their customer service is good, better than Valve's currently but Origin isn't being used more than Steam, doesn't support the modding scene, doesn't sell other games other than ones EA owns or publishes along with generally not being seen as the go to store/company on PC, that's how out of touch EA still is. I still remember the fuck up that is Sim city that's still borked, Sims 4 not doing or faring any better than 1-3, C&C still being dead after 5 years along with a massive botched attempt at merging two studios together, holding a closed beta for Generals 2 and then suddenly scrapping it all to dust, 3 years of work and two studios gone down the drain with an IP that's still dead, yes that's EA totally being in touch with their old times alright.

Valve made their own store as well as their own games just like how EA made and pubbed their own games and then their own store, same with Blizzard, Ubisoft, bethesda, anyone out there who brings a new software store client to the table.

I don't know the betrayal you speak of but you sound like you've harboured bitter hate for a Valve for a very long time and not the healthy kind, I suggest letting such hate go (you do hate no matter how you try to spin it so lets not dance back and forth a million times like the last thread).
