Lol. The PS4 wouldn't even show up in a 4k image on that pie chart if my PC was involved^^

Why not make a chart that shows how much electricity they use in Wh? People don't pay the same price for their electricity...
I guess the chart still works for comparative purposes, but not so much so if you want to find out how much it costs for you... Here we have pretty cheap electricity (0.04£ per kWh).

Good to see the ps4 has barely increased over the ps3. They're all reasonable numbers though for any of the console. What kind of numbers do high end PC's do?

Wow, the WiiU is the only planet friendly home console this gen. How did they manage that low consumption? XD
I've seen several articles about the power consumptions over the last few years. Persuming the OP article is the new model PS4 with better power consumption
Full Article graph is from : http://www.extremetech.com/gaming/182829-new-report-slams-xbox-one-and-ps4-power-consumption-inefficiencies-still-abound
This graph from last year shows the powwer in watts used by console and in each revision of them and shows how efficient they get during there cycle as slim editions and models such as the "CUH - 1200" PS4 model is already showing us how much more efficient they can and will get through the generation.
I would like to know what PC is used in the graph persumable a <£100 with no GPU installed.

Actually the Wii U gives you less power per Watt than the PS4

My single GPU set up on here http://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator has a load wattage of 552W and a reccomended PSU of 598 ( Have a 650W installed) Obviously this is the max output but I imagine it running at 400+ when gaming and the average wattage of my GPU alone is 229W with a peak of 260W. Now just imagine some crazy SLI set ups.

So what kind of money are you looking at spending a year on electricity?
A Pie Chart is an extremely poor choice (I am trying to use the mildest possible language) to graphically represent the energy consumption of several devices. Unless everyone had them all and all powered up in their homes, of course.
The graph posted by WoodenPints is a much better presentation form.
wow the wii u takes a lot less watt than xbox 360 and ps3 maybe its because of the hard-drive`?
