It occurred to me that there are many people here that have ideas on how companies like Nintendo should run their organization.  So why not take those ideas and put them to work in a game based on managing a video game console business?  You would control development studios, marketing and even design how the console will look and play.  Other possibilities like mergers, acquisitions and personel management would also be available.  You would be like Tatsumi Kimishima and have to worry about what stockholders think.  You could start your own console or maybe revive Sega, who knows?  Would a game such as this interest anyone here enough to buy it?  What do you think?

There are already several games like that. And yes, people bought them.

Most of them are focused on game development instead of actual console development but consoles do play a big role. I'm trying to think of the one I mean, it was something like Game Dev Tycoon but not it.

I kind of liked this game but sort of gave up on it. Too difficult. I can't get pass that level where I have to fight the feminists.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

As long as every stockholder meeting features constant "but what about mobile" questions.

The trick is to not release it to the west.

The question isn't about "Big Business Deluxe".  I was just using that as an example.

I wish I could remove it....

I had given up on that "abort localization" option because my wallet balance decreased each time I clicked on it, but now the freaking option makes sense. Thanks.

How can you remove it without messing up the rest of the game? I think it's too late for that.

I was referring to taking that association away from this thread.  What are you talking about?
