I had Splatoon, Mario Maker and Smash as my guesses. Didn't expect to see Xenoblade. Good stuff.

With the number of post I saw voting for Smash I wouldn't be surprised if it actually did place, but obviously with it clearly being a 2014 game they didn't count it.

Anywhos, the 3DS list is ok considering what we got this year. I mean atleast Happy Home Designer stayed off of it. That alone gives me that much more faith in humanity!

You're happy an experimental spin-off did not make the list? Ok... it doesn't sound much to write home about. I'm sure some of the women like it (referring to the data that 70% of Japanese AC fans are women).

Miiverse has some decent taste in games

Yes I am happy that a mediocre unnecessary game created only to sell amiibo didn't get on a list that's supposed to be for good games.

Both lists are a bit of a surprise. I am still shocked that Splatoon turned out to be the succeed that it is now, as well as X being in the top 3. Those 2 are very reassuring to see on there, and well, Mario Maker is cool. So that's nice too...

The 3DS is very surprising. How did a remake of a lesser popular Zelda title take the top spot..? I figured people wouldn't care about it, but at least it is nice it's getting more recognition this time. Triforce heroes is also a surprise, since it's a smaller budget side Zelda game with weird mechanics that no one would also care about. I guess people really dug the fashion side of it xD While I wish MH4 was higher, at least it's on the list. I'm hoping we can see more MH titles come to the west since this title was fairly successful.
