Forums - Nintendo - Eurogamer's Mario Kart Wii Review is up...

Read the review, people, not just the score! Excellent review as always from Eurogamer.

I agree with the review. The lack of multiplayer a option in GP mode is a real downside. Why on earth did they opt to leave this out? On another note, it's good to see a positive response to the Wii wheel.

WHAT?!

Yeah... that makes it worth knocking down a point alone... I'm being serious here. Probably will get this soley for online battlemode.

that review can join the ones in my thread here:

very good score, because like many european publications eurogamer is always pretty harsh

8 out of 10 boooo Eurogamer. Mario Kart Wii deserves a score over 90% average.

IMO Mario Kart games are more fun than Mario platform games. I love the feeling of beaten people in Mario kart multiplayer especially in person. I am not a huge fan of online gaming not the same feeling as playing real people who are in the same room as you.

Woooh.....You played it? Tell more about it?

No free for all in battle mode has killed my desire to purchase this game. So I'll be skipping out on MK for the first time. How they could leave this out is beyond me...

^^ Damn I just read that part too no multiplayer GP or free for all battle online :( only red vs blue .......it saddens me ! ....oh well accept changes and adapt still buying !!!

Good review, I think eurogamer got the score right there.

It's too bad that it looks like Nintendo didn't make this title as polished and feature-rich as Brawl. Ah well, I'm sure it will still be a very fun and worthwhile purchase, anyway.

Hmmm... strange I don't think IGN mentioned the lack of free for all in their preview. Still getting this, though.
