Forums - Gaming - You wake up one morning and read that Microsoft bought Sony, what do you do?

I go. "Alright then."
Have my bowl of cereal, and go do my usual 2-10pm shift and get paid.

First reaction: Laugh, because I know people are gonna lose their minds
What would I do? Proceed to go on with my day
How could it affect my gaming? Very positively, as I'd only ever have to buy one console moving forward.

You still can't play Nintendo games there.

I know who it is your poking at ...

@OT Not much as I hope Microsoft isn't stupid enough to ruin a good business and brand ...

So Sony would continue working normally you think?

News like that wouldn't be first read on this site, it would also take more than a day.

It wouldn't surprise me some people here come to this website first thing when online.

You mean that since you never eat breakfast and don't work, this news would completely flip your world over.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

I would laugh that a smaller company bought the bigger one.

It would actually be fine, as all exclusives would be on the same system and the Playstation would most probably be the brand and system that lingers. Xbox would probably go away. Nintendo would have more breathing space to be an alternative.

It wouldnt be that bad, aslong as Microsoft didnt start their monopolistic practices... but they likely would.

Go out and buy the XStation

Wonder why microsoft would waste so much money and proceed not to care.

I would just say OK, and keep up with my life. Since Sony nor MS pay my bills I'm not that tied to it. Would miss the games and be upset at the pratices depending on how it fold afterwards.

I would feel bad for Microsoft since they bought a company that only knows how to make shovelwares.

Owwww you... is that a reference to our other thread?

All exclusives and having to buy only one system is good... doing that on a MS platform not so good... it's impossible that MS wouldn't abuse their power as usual.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Never will happen, so i'm not even thinking about a reaction.

would microsoft had a plan what to do with all those niche and indie games :/
