Deaths have risen up 14% from 2013. Over 47,000 have died from drug overdose in 2014. A total of 500,000 lives have been lost from drug overdose since 2000.
What do you think should be done to help prevent drug overdose? I think the government is making the smart move to place more regulations on common drugs abused-an example is pain killers.
It's unfortunate that people overdose on drugs though. Quite disappointing how something meant to relieve pain ends up killing thousands of people a year.
