If they base the NX on Amiibos, it is going to flop hard. I also have seen many people starting to yawn at amiibos. It was cool as collectibles at first, now it is almost impossible to have all of them.

If this means they are going to lock meanigful content behind them, it´s a terrible idea

Days ago, Kimishima said they aknowledge people is buying amiibo solely for collectible purposes, and they want to make it more like interactive figurines. I guess one of the paths is to lock even more content in it.

I swear if they start doing that I won't buy the NX, even if it has a Pokemon console version, I just won't buy it.Like most people I buy amiibo as collection pieces, I don't wanna have to move all those figurines, or cards, or whatever with me every time I play a F'ing game, most of the content locked behind 'em is DLC anyways, why doesn't Nintendo just treat it as such and be done with it...

Amiibo in theory is a great idea.. I've thought it was good even with the shortages and limitations, but it's starting to get a bit annoying

Really awesome when your amiibo (which is also a cheap figurine) can be used to get extras for multiple games.. but now, they are releasing a new Amiibo for each main title, meaning that the older amiibos aren't useful anymore and you have to buy the new ones in order to get those features :/

But what I get from this title is probably a Amiibo Land game, which is something I think would work really well
