Its pretty obvious that, once a product becomes so sucessfull, the company is gonna stick with it, but so far they have already saw that amiibo dont sell so many games (amiibo festival and chibi robot flopped anyway) and for what they said recently they already know people is buying them more for collectible purposes than anything else.

I would think Amiibo's as physical markers for games...? Like the cards but then for games.
That would make sense is NX is full digital.
