The question? Which one do you like most?

I sort of lean towards 2d plat because you can test your playthough speed and don't have to worry about camera angels, although I like them both.

What about you?

3D, because I find levels to be more creative and fun

Depends on how I'm feeling. Sometimes I want to run around and collect shit, other times I just want the quick simplicity of "run to the right and don't die."

But sometimes you need to go back left, and up, and down. :P

3D platformers, but lately I've gotten more interested in 2D ones as well (thanks to SMB. No, not Super Mario Bros. the other SMB. Yeah. The indie one.)

2D for the retro nostalgic feel and 3D for the new ideas and styles.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I want to say 3D but honestly, there really aren't that much 3D platformers that have what I'm looking for, I would say that fast-paced 3D platformers with intricate and acrobatic controls that lend themselves to find other paths to the goal or short-cuts using your own abilities are my favorites, but to my knowledge there's just 2 or 3 in existance so I dunno. (Mario Sunshine and the Sonic Adventure games, the Sonic parts.)

I'm now filled with determination.

Damn, I have yet to play Super Meat Boy, but can' decide whether to play it on PC or PS4.

2D for the simplicity. 3D for the immersion.

3D

Games like Super Mario 3D platformers, Banjo Kazooie, Sonic 3D (like the Adventure games), Gex and Glover (I liked it ;3).

I need to get Ratchet and Clank and the Sony ones too ;o

As far as 2D is concerned - I do like the Super Mario games, DK and Kirby - the old sonic ones were good too but nothing of recent.

Still....Banjo Kazooie - nothing beats that ;p

I am not very enthusiastic of 3D Mario but I always crave them 2D Marios. :D
