Im sure you all just saw the Smash Bros final presentation and it looks like nobody was blown away by the content. Lets list off all the new content coming
Cloud, Corrin, Bayonetta, and a ton of useless hats.....
Lets start with the hats- I dont think anybody cares about mii fighters anymore. And if they did, they would not pay money to make them look like fighters. Its just an excuse at this point to say characters are in the game when they arent. Geno, Tails, Takamaru, King K, all of which would have been amazing fighters have been scrapped. Not to mention that they cant be used online, arent very powerful, and people would rather just use actual fighters.
Next is Corrin, who seems like a great fighter, but I would apprecite him more IF I KNEW WHO THE **** HE WAS. Seriously? Nintendo pulled another Roy move and put Fire Emblem characters in before the game actually released. Not to mention that Smash 4 has already become a dumping ground for these guys. We have 2 clones of Marth, Robin, who nobody wanted initially, and now a character who we havent even seen in game yet. I feel like in the next smash bros i dont even want any new Fire Emblem characters. there are already 6 reps and that matches Pokemon and trumps Zelda, which are both far more popular franchises, as least from what Ive seen.
We saw Cloud again, and he should be releasing tonight, thats good.
Finally Bayonetta, who was a relief and a surprise to me. I feel like Bayonetta was the one breath of hype in this trailer that people are actually excited for, although it kind of stinks that we only got 1 smash ballot winner, and Sakurai didnt even bother to share the results, only giving us Bayonetta's placement. Even if they werent included, I want to see at least the top 5 for each region.
