You can't really "hide" a patent. The kicker is that nobody can replicate that patent for a specific amount of time. Even if Sony or MS were to copy, they'd first have to get their hands on NX hardware and reverse engineer it but that's not something that big MNCs do these days. Even if they do see the patents, they'll never truly know how to replicate it or even know how it works.

Last few years they do anything at GDC anymore and they never announced hardware at GDC, few years now they announcing big things only at E3 or in Nintendo Directs.

About time of NX revile, I expecting that will be revealed after fiscal report for 2015. fiscal year, that means end of April or beginning of May.

So many gens of home and handheld consoles all justifiably disclosed at an E3... And Nintendo suddenly will hold  a random conference in spring to present NX, (till march is still FY15) ! Daydream/Wishful thinking?

So Nintendo all of a sudden will stop its tradition of revealing brand new hardware at E3 and instead they will do that at a full fiscal year financial report which has nothing to do with things beyond economic data and it's just document/ pdf pages publicization... Oh my god people...

That was before when gap between revealing and releasing was 18 months for Nintendo, and that doesn't work any more. They will probably do something like Sony and MS done with PS4/X1, reveal few months before E3 and then full blown up reveal with playable games at E3.

Its not about financial report, it what comes after financial reports, Nintendo right after financial reports is talking about their plans.

Yeah! Nintendo is holding anything about the NX for E3. 

Yeah I use that as my main argument why I believe that if NX is mainly about replacing wii u (because for 3DS, might be another story) , it will be in 2017 holidays! This is the strict pattern in the case of home consoles, handheld consoles have done something a little bit different! Who says that it won't be again?  Anyway, the general trend, is releasing the consoles the year after E3 no matter the exact date! 3ds was shown at 2010 E3 and was released in February 2011..Just 8 months after the revelation...

Also... Both of you, suggest, a disclosure in a date, when it's still  in FY15...

Yes, that was trend before, but I dont think that does not work very well in modern era and Nintendo knows that, they also saw how Sony and MS done great job of revealing and launching console in same year.
