Forums - Gaming - The Last Remnant port is finally happening!!!!!

Smartphones have become the definitive place to play rpgs and it'll only get better!

I think this uses cloud technology to help it run better too.

It's only good on PC from reviews and my experience with two formats.

I remember reading that playing on PC made managing characters easier or something.

360 version is playable and it's good from my experience. Thing is, PC version added a lot of things, like being able to recruit enemies into your army, better selection of actions in-combat and some other things that were absent from the 360 (New Game Plus, more items...etc).

Thanks for screwing with my feelings :(

I recall some people liking it and others not liking it, like it goes for pretty much everything. It was one of the Xbox360 took away JRPGs from Sony ammunition back in the day though.

It wasn't a takeaway. It was a "we cancelled the PS3 version because it's too hard to code for wah wah wah" situation. Granted, it was a smaller game, and thus didn't get as much funding, so what happened to the PS3 version then may be similar to what happening to XBOne and indies now: they put it on the platform that is the most cost efficient now to maximize profits, then port it to the other console if they make a return on their investment. Thing is, this game was garbage and sold mediocre and combined with the PS3s "difficulty", it wasn't worth it to make that version.

This game is trash. Scaling difficulty made the game unplayable. You grind and the game becomes way too hard to advance.

Let me see if I understand the GIF correctly. The PC brags about the awesome components while consoles play a card game without caring, like saying PC is out of the game and no one care how strong it is, right?

Sounds like the PC version is the definitive version alright. Hope they port that version, if they port anything at all.

I said it before in some pages back, I am trying to prepare people for bigger disappointments in this thing we call life. :) I should probably receive money for this, like I am helping people and stuff.

Well, that may have been the explanation of why it didn't land on the PS3, but in the end it served as Console Wars ammunition and that is what I meant.

That sounds a lot like the Final Fantasy Tactics situation. It may or may not be a dealbreaker though, depending on how impossible to finish the game is, which I bet is not the case.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

In short yeah.

That's probably the second funniest part besides the following where that user gets outed by the other PC gamer.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

great and what about x86 consoles? What a stupid decision by Square

Great game, here's hoping a sequel comes one day.

Didn't I say it, it is a 2 against 1 situation so far in this thread with your post. xD

Nope, it sucks :P
