Not that I've played it, but knowing that the commands you can issue to your units are chosen by the RNGoddess is enough.

I saw two 2nd hand copies for 15 euros last saturday and avoided them like the plague.

I actually liked this game, though it had some rough edges.

It became too luck based and did some strange plot things halfway through, though, and I never got around beating it.
