PlayStation All-Stars. That opening, unlike any other, can still pump me up today. They just nailed every spot, the song choice was brilliant, and the game is perfectly set up by the intro. Plus it was the spiritual sequel to the Michael commercial, which is the greatest video game advertisement ever made. Shame Sony screwed SuperBot insanely hard, because that game was ready to change things. (Rumor holds there were distinct plans for two years of characters every few months to double the roster, and that these were free for two weeks a la Kat/Emmett until Sony backed out of the plans.) Sony was just terrible from 2010-2012 with games that weren't their ultra hit franchises; everybody talks up their lineup around then but ignores that Sony absolutely screwed over a good half a dozen developers with their shitty practices post-launch.
But yeah, digression aside, PSAS.
You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt! I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading. After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
