Some of the tracks are starting to grow on me. Some of them were awesome from the start. The primary NLA theme is pretty damn corny, though.

EDIT: Overall, I love the eclectic music of this soundtrack. "Xenoblade X" is quickly becoming one of my favorite Wii U games, period.

My favorite track so far must be Uncontrollable (Tyrant battle) sounds so much like Kill la Kill.

Lol, that's my favorite track too, and for the same reason.

Don't ruse your way~

That being said, the NLA themes are the only real tracks I haven't liked so far. I guess it fits the urban vibe...but I just really don't care for the random vocals.

I also love the OST. how many hours have you played? i played like 55 hours so far

71 hours, I've just finished chapter 11 so I guess it will take me a little time to finish the story. And, what I like about that is that I don't actually care. I will continue to play after I finish the episode just because I want to complete all the missions and do all the affinity quests. Maybe take down some Magna monsters. Maybe even try to complete the 100%. I'm not tired of playing, and that's always a good thing.

I dont really understand what you mean with Magna Monsters, but i guess you mean Tyrants :) and i 100% the original xenoblade chronicles. I love that game and it's OST. xenoblade chronicles X feels different from the first one. but not ina bad way at all.  X feels very free and like my new world i live in. I love it.

I HATE those tracks with lyrics ( I can't be the only one)  - especially the ones with rap. A game's OST is so much better only with instruments.

well im a huge orchestra geek. I mostly like it too, and i really dislike rap. but sawanos rap here is actually growing on me. I dislike the Night NLA theme but the day one. OH BOY that one is awsome .

I thought I was going to hate the ost because of those songs with lyrics but actually I really like it. There are some really, really good songs. But it's very far from the masterpiece that the Xenoblade's Wii ost is.
X could be so much better with an ost like that, I still haven't heard a song that made me feel what I felt when I heard Gaur plains song for the first time, entering that area and seeing that huge plain to discover. Also, nothing can match the Valak mountains song, that is dope. I downloaded a fan-made extended version of the song and listened to it on repeat.

To me Xenoblade Chronicles had the best OST ever, Tropical Freeze following close second. Valak mountain, Gaur plains, colony 9,Eryth sea, alcamoth, mechonis field, central factory, agniratha, satorl marsh (night) were all really awsome field themes. I just finished 100% Xenoblade Chronicles X and i love every minute of it.

Oh, maybe, I'm playing the spanish version and they're called Manga Monsters. I don't know why they changed the name, but I think it sounds cooler :P. The XCX world is so much better than the XC world, it just feels alive. Recluiting some new races to NLA actually affects the game as you can buy weapons for new developers, explore the relationship between NPCs and I love that. And there are some very good side quests in XCX (that time machine quest was hilarious), while in XC most of the side quests were bland and not very meaningful. This affects to the main story, and it's not half as good as XC one (it has some nice twists, but most of it is just meaningless), that's the worst part of it. I never felt bored in XCX, and I just feel bored the first 20 hours of XC because the main story takes a lot to be good and the side quests were boring. They're entirely different games, though, they only share the name and some parts of the combat system, and that's always good. I hope that, in the next one, they find a balance between making a good, beatiful and alive world with a story in the same league as the XC one. And that could be one of the best games ever.

Yes i agree with preatty much everything. But i stil felt the world in the first one was also really good. i love when devs go with alot of different envoirments, but the world is better in XCX. Because of detail and so on. but the first one had multiple different locations wich all felt very unique. ehm i still would say the first one is a bit better overall, beacause it has a special feel to it and i actually liked the combat more in the first one if you take account of arts. There are just too many arts unlocked at once, and too many different characters at once. so it felt a bit overwhelming in that regard, but now i gotten the hang of it much much better. I feel like both games are masterpieces and they are definatly both in my top 10 video games of all time.
