Forums - Microsoft - Xbox One Is No Longer the Underdog

An "underdog" is a person or group in a competition, usually in sports and creative works, who is popularly expected to lose.[1] The party, team, or individual expected to win is called the favorite or top dog. In the case where an underdog wins, the outcome is anupset. An "underdog bet" is a bet on the underdog or outsider for which the odds are generally higher.

MS is the underdog more than ever. However, considering the resources MS has the term underdog doesn't really fit. They just don't know how to do console business.

Planet technewstoday located in the bullsheeeeeiiit solarium.  I believe ratchet travels there in a crack in time.  Apparently reality is inverted so this article makes sense.

The Globally in the US planet.

With Halo declining MS no longer has that knockout punch in their kit bag (Halo 3 was the knockout punch for XB360 in the US, PS3 never was able to get back on its feet in the US after that). They will have to battle with pricepoint unless they came crank out some new IP that is fresh and appeals to mainstream audiences.

Don't forget Microsoft also had gears which was a beast back then and they'd timed exclusives like mass effect and Bioshock.

I felt Xbox was the underdog only in Japan, everywhere else is fair game.
