if they do another price cut next year, GTS and Horizon hit the holidays, another price cut or slim model, and a Rockstar game hits next year in the holidays, i can see next year being the peak year.

So 100M HW Sales? or you are talking about how revolutionary PS1 was?

It will sale on that range

The ps4 is selling like hotcackes because brand recognition thats all and it will not trump the ps2 in sales 

No console can ever top the ps2 numbers only in dreams is that possible

I think 2017 will be its peak year, but it will only be a slight increase over 2016 (I believe 2016 will be a fairly sizable increase over 2015. 20 million for the year would not surprise me).

It seems fairly common for people to seize on any individual piece of data that suggests that the sales of the PS4 appear to be slowing down, but that has yet to appear to be the actual case.

As such, I think the PS4 will follow the typical PlayStation sales cycle, meaning the next couple years will be its strongest.

So lets say its at 35m by end of 2015.
It does 20m in 2016, and 24m in 2017 (its peak), and 20m in 2018...

By the start of 2019, it should be around 99m?
Obviously the PS5 releases at some point in this year and sales slow down alot.

But theres just no way the PS4 isnt going over 100million units.

I guess it depends on when the inevitable slim model releases and whether or not PSVR becomes a system seller.
