Where does the 334k figure comes from for wiiU?



Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

No it's just a random picture from the internet. But that's a mighty fine idea. Will edit it tomorrow.

Feel we're getting slightly off track here so let's have a look at some numbers. Doesn't the line "Best Selling Retail COD Since 2013" basically mean it outsold last year's title but not the one before that? Couldn't we determine some rough sales from that? Not sure if it's already been done, the thread is moving a mile a minute but that's what it sounds like to me.

It's not a figure. All we know is it sold less than GAF's aggregate prediction, which was 334k. So it could be anything between 1k and 333k.

It's because he had a restraining order about talking about MS, etho was prohibited from talking about anything MS related.

Wow, so he faced a ban even if he said somerhing like "Xb one sold very well this month"? That's pretty messed up.

To whit, I am surprised Xb one was up YoY, even if only slightly. But I guess those BF deals for the Gears bundle did the job for them.

The big question is whether this is the peak or not. I think with PS4 even though 2016 has a much hotter line up and we definitely won't have a 7th gen remaster as the principle console bundle for November it's very hard to see PS4 topping 1.5 million again. But hell, I've underestimated PS4 all gen, pretty much.

NBA 2k right on its heals and next up is FIFA. That used to be tiny in the US but it's freaking huge now. I wonder if it can topple madden in its home territory soon? This battle kinda reminds me of Playstation vs xbox. The PS being Fifa and the XB being Madden.

Yes and I'm glad for it. Madden feels the same pretty much every year, whereas NBA 2K actually tries to add new features with each new entry.

How popular is "Soccer" (Damn i hate that name) in the US?

I believe it is the least popular compared with Basket and Football!

Outside of the US, the most popular sport on the planet is "Soccer"
