I'm really scared of the acceptance of the public of multiplayer blocked by a fee in consoles. It seems a lot of people just asume that they will have to pay every week/month/year to access a content you already paid. If this becomes the norm, we will see fees in some PC servers, like Origin or even some Steam games. This is a game breaker for me, I don't buy any console that makes you pay to access a multiplayer you already paid when you bought the game.

So you wouldnt buy a Nintendo console if they would charge?

Don't even joke with that, please :(

That's the thing. The only real system seller that I have always had is Pokemon. I buy games that come to the platforms Pokemon is in. If Nintendo puts a fee on their online, I would be in a moral obligation of not supporting that console, or buying the thing and pirating every single game I'm interested in. Then again, I think that, if Nintendo does that, they'll go out of the hardware bussiness.

Its not as bad as you think because you will get games with it, in case with nintendo they would probably give you games from their virtual console. Their console could also be cheaper.

But I would be paying for a service that was previously free, get new content that I might already own (or not be interested at all), to access parts of games I already paid for. If they make a subscription system without blocking online, I will be interested in trying it out, but if it is recquired to play games I already paid for it's not a service, it's extorsion.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I have plenty of old systems to game on.  I'll just fall back on them if it ever gets too bad.

What do I think about FF7 remake?  Square can go fuck itself.

I'm fine with picking fun games. I don't care for price.

If it will shut me up for a good amount of time(and isn't extremely expensive), then sure, I'll buy it.

I did buy the Mario Kart DLC. Some people complain, but i didn't. I've spent a lot of time on the game, so it's extra content I can enjoy.

for games like Starwars battlefront though, I would never buy it. DLC for EA is nothing but a rip off

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Personally, I hate the idea. There is simply no way that this can be an actual remake with this episodic format. We need a full, realized world that you can explore like in the original game. If you section all of this off, the game loses a big part of what made FFVII, FFVII. And don't get me started about the combat changes.

Basically, this game is Final Fantasy VII in name alone.

The world's might combine through episodes who knows.
