Understandable.  But just imaging having to go to the store twice, unpacking and setting up your console twice, and having to pack up and spend time returning the other console on top of all that.  You know your schedule and the availability of your friends more than I do.  But is it really worth the trouble right now while eventually forcing someone to buy a slightly used console?  Just saying.

I agree that would be a hassel. Fortunately my GF will be doing all of that if I have to return the system. She's off during the day and works over night so she has plenty of free time during the day.

Yea she's cool about stuff like that. I would be pissed if I had to go out and do stuff as much as I ask her to do stuff for me. I guess the difference is I'm gaming on my free time and she's just keeping up with the kardashians. She likes to get out and run errands and stuff like  that.

I know games fall under this category but not sure about the consoles themselves - though from what I remember and not sure if they changed - but when I bought my PS2 years ago and the console went down in price a few days later - I went back to the store and they gave me back money. This was Best Buy btw.


Yea looks like several people have confirmed Best Buy will do this. I'm just going to do it. Worst comes to worst and I'll just have my GF return it and get it for $300.
