And, everytime he has lost a League Championship it has been either in the finals and for a single Pokémon difference or because he faced against some totally OP trainer (Tobias and his legendary team). Is not like he always looses by a big leap (except for the Kanto championship, but he was a novice there).

Also, you can't watch the show anymore because you're not a kid anymore, and the show is aimed for kids.

But yeah, not really fair to compare against anime with it's flashy battles and generally higher stakes. Within the games themselves, I'd say this is a pretty epic battle!

Alright fine there are probably some epic moments, I certainly can't say there are none as I obviously haven't watched every episode, but it's safe to say there'd be more if they got rid of Ash already. :L

There are plenty of kid shows that I watch, most similarly being Yugioh with it also being an anime trying sell product. Zexal was garbage, but other than it's been consistently solid.

Earlier this year I was in a battle in which the opponent had 6 legendaries (1 OMEGA). Granted I had 6 Pokemon as well but none of them were legendaries. I only ever got to use three of my Pokemons however. (Pikachu, Jolteon, Talonflame)

The teams consisted of Pikachu, Jolteon, Talonflame, Serperior, Milotic, Charizard VS.
Jirachi, Meloetta, Darkrai, Latias (Omega), Mew, Hoopa

To say the least I was quite surprised to come out victorious myself =p

Noice, always fun to wreck legendary spammers! I remember way back during gen 4 where I first started playing Pokemon, almost every other team I went up against online had legendarys. I vowed then never to use legendarys and instead built my team around defeating them. Many Dialgas and Palkias died during that generation! Darkrai though, he was a punk. :L
