I clicked yes because i think its fairly obvious that that will be the number but then i relized, like you posted, they would most likely wait until the end of the year. I dont think theyannounced numbers last PSX did they?

no, the PS4 most certainly didn't sell 3.8m+ units in ~ 2 weeks even with BF factored in

Actually now that i think about it they will and heres why. They, like Gribble said, can get the word out that they have amazing sales now. Then wrap the xmas numbers in with 1/4 one in march/apr to show strong sales during that period to keep the hype train chugging.

If anything they will most likely say nothing at all or just reiterate the 30m number.

Hopefully we should see official PR after the holidays. 

not after just announcing 30 million. the next number we'll get is the quarterly shipment numbers in february.
