The fact that you choose to play multiplats on xbox one with lower resolution and calling the ps3 library boring shows you dislike Sony products to begin with in my opinion. The ps4 gets exclusives every month from Japan just like in your beloved ps2 era, games exclusivley not on the wiiu or xbox one.

I don't dislike Sony products, and if you read my post properly, I said I only have an XB1 to play multiplats with my friends (all have an XB1 and don't play on pc), otherwise I would get rid of it as it has no value to me. I take my ps2 with me wherever I go. I have a vita, I just replayed Bloodborne on my ps4. I play games regardless of what system they are on; if a system has games that interest me, I will buy it, whether it is Sony or Nintendo or Microsoft. My point is, I think they started to take a much different direction with their games and focus after the ps2. There used to be so many great, unique games that were exclusive to the PS systems and not found elsewhere (DMC, onimusha, Silent Hill/Fatal Frame, Jak, Socom, SMT, Okami, Shadow Hearts, Ico/SOTC, Breath of Fire, Suikoden,  many many more, etc.), but I have not found this to be the case with the ps3/4. I am disappointed. I am looking forward to some games but I just feel like there's still something missing. I have more important things to worry about than having a dumb allegiance for one company.

Allmost all of these games you have listed arent even devoloped by Sony. Why blaming Sony here? Notice how most them are also japanese, you should blame yourself and other gamers for not buying these types of games instead blaming the platform.

PS4 gets plenty of other japanese types of games which you arent probably supporting despite being just as good. And yes we get the last guardian from sony, and we wont see naughty dog making jump n runs again because ego shooters is what gets supported by most gamers these days. And just recentley Koei Tecmo showed a new game similiar to onimusha called ''nih oh'', platinum games is making nier automata which gives you the dmc fix, fatal frame is on the wiiu. There is plenty of games in this generation similiar to what you liked in ps2 era.

You buy 2 ps4 games and you except to feel like ps2 era? where are your jrpgs? You only own bloodboren and other game is probably the last of us or something

I'm not blaming Sony; I'm just saying that I wish they had those kinds of games again. Maybe they will. I guess it is still early, but I still had more to play on my PS2 two years after its release.

And what JRPGs are there that are worth playing and also not on pc? I would like to know. I was interested in DQ Heroes until it was announced for pc, DQ 11 will be on other consoles, Kingdom Hearts is way too kiddy for me, FF games haven't interested me after FF9, Nier seems like it will be good, Star Ocean games are boring/not that good to me, Tales is also on PC but I am tired of that series, I find the Sword Art and Neptunia games to be bad, Ys should be exciting since I love those games but it is also on vita, Dark Souls 3 I will definitely get on PC, etc. etc. Lots of the games are also on pc, which is also different from the PS2-era, during which I needed to have a PS2 in order to play those games. I know times are different, but it is still just really disappointing. At least the ds/3ds have somewhat maintained good quality JRPG output, and to an extent the vita.

also, Ni-Oh seems to have a lot of potential. Hopefully it delivers. Looking forward to its release
