Forums - Nintendo - I'm not getting Xenoblade Chronicles X because it's too confusing.

You are right to do so. The gameplay is rather ill-explained, controls are sometimes shabby and the balance is pretty rough. PS4 on the other hand has many user-friendly RPGs.

Because there will be no tutorials or explanaitions at all.

You don't have to mention Playstation in every thread you know. Heaven forbid a game actually has depth and isn't dumbed down because the developers treat us like idiots.

Lol are you being serious? You still aren't giving me a clear answer to what I've been saying and I'm definitely not going to repeat it.

For the love of...

This is WHY I gave examples.  Cause you clearly just don't get what I'm saying.  Some ideas and opinions can be of different substance and have more points if discussion than others.  That's just a fact, a widely recognized and accepted fact.  And THAT is what he was pointing out as the problem, THAT is what determines if something is thread worthy.  Can the OP on its own foster a worthwhile, long discussion?  That's got nothing to do with interest.  I'm not at all interested in Kingdom Hearts 3.  But I would never say that a thread discussing where the game might be taking the series is un-thread worthy.  Cause that is an idea, an opinion or set of opinions more than substantial enough to be worthy of a thread.  And that's not an opinion, that's just a reality; the complexity of the opinion provides numerous points of discussion.  The moderators set the ultimate threshold of course, but the standard is based on substance, not agreement or interest.  And that's what he meant by all opopinions and opinion threads not being equal.

Now stop quoting with your condescending snark and let this thread do whatever it is going to.

Not going to bother replying to him anymore.  Thanks though, because if you didn't jump in here, I probably would have been drawn into an even longer pointless conversation.

Knowing that a third party read and understand my posts means that the problem is not on my end, which means he either lacks reading comprehension, or simply wants to argue without caring what the other person says.  That in turn means that I can simply ignore him.  So, again, thanks for saving me some time and frustration.  Cheers mate.

You know the game isn't just gonna plump you in and leave to you rot, right?

Thank you for letting us know. Not to be rude, but it seems like many of the things you're posting simply do not need their own thread.

I have read some of the debate. I was immediately drawn to this thread as I am interested in XCX but doubt that I will have the time or the skills to play this game.

Concerning other threads created by Nintation360 I find them good enough. "I never played The Legend of Zelda without a walkthrough before. Am I the only one?" is a question that is relevant for me as a mediocre gamer.

I understad that Nintation360 is from Canada (assuming english is first or second language) but I find the written english is not the best. However I find that many with english as their native language are quite sloppy with their writing.

If other people think these are worthwhile contributions to the board, then I'm not going to stop it.  But I find too many topics from him that are simply "I like this" or "I don't like that".  And I just don't think those things warrant a new topic.

You're saying that you're drawn to this topic because you are interested in XCX because you are interested in the game but don't feel you have the time or skills.  Ok.  But does the OP actually give any information that would help you in that regard? Does this really explain something about the game to you? Does it provide information that would influence your decision?  What information do we learn in the OP aside from the topic creator's personal likes or dislikes?

Edit: And there is an official Xenoblade Chronicles thread.  This doesn't seem to be such an important thought that it should be outside that thread.  If you are wondering if Chronicles would be right for you, that thread would probably be a better start.

This will be a little embarrassing: I have visited this site for many years, stil I do not know where to find official threads. There is something called VGChartz buddy, can I find it there? The last 2 - 3 years I have done all my browsing trough the Wii U pad and it does not support the VGChartz buddy (not that I know anyway)

Why you making thread about this!?

Xenoblade is JRPG and JRPG definitely isn't for everyone.

There is no special way to do it.  Click forums on the top of the screen.  Then, on the top right, you'll see a search bar.  Type what you're looking for (like Xenoblade) in the bar, and you'll see what topics there are about it.

In the case of a big release like Xenoblade, if you just go to the appropriate forum (i.e. Nintendo discussion) you'll probably find it.

Seriously, every game nowadays is half RPG, you already know all of those "confusing stuf" you just havent realised it yet.
