Forums - General - Vote John McCain for President 2008.

I have to thank some of the thread posters like the OP and StanGable as they remind me yet again that it's better for my blood pressure to refrain from discussing politics with conservative people.

And an interesting observation, which I made during the approx. last 20 years of my life, is proofed again, as well: It's mostly conservative people who unrequested try to convince others of their political opinion.

I need a cigarette and a drink now and maybe some gay porn...

Where's mesoteto when you need a kitten picture?

I am not American, but ive read a few articles, and id rather choose democrats, but thats just me.
Honestly, you WANT universal healtgcare regardless of what the current government tells you :)

on another note.
As a Gay man i am upset with the current state of Australian politics. I used to be an avid church goer when i was younger, but i have been enlightened to the machine, and now i just don't have the energy.
Even on Good Friday in Australia the Pubs cant open until a certain time. what is this, a theocracy ? feels that way sometime.
I am glad that they might be inroducing a relationship register. its a step in the right direction.

No, we don't want universal healthcare. Well, at least I don't and know many others who feel the same way.

It completely depends on your politic beliefs. You can't make a sweeping statement implying that our government is somehow cheating us out of healthcare by not socializing it. Plenty of Americans realize fully what universal healthcare means to the people and there are plenty of educated opinions about the good and bad of it.

I cant wait until bush makes a return to the white house, it will be awsome another 4 years of thousands getting killed for no real reason would be amazing in my opinion. Why not throw me in there and kill me as well =D

Anyone who in this thread says things like "muslims attack us blabla" or "homosexuals are bad mmkay" seriously need to STFU. You all have the IQ of a toaster and I would seriously watch your words if I were you.

What I really dont understand is that most Americans are against the war and HATE bush for it, but they will vote for McCain. NEWSFLASH: If McCain wins, the war will NOT end. Period.

I will be voting for Obama. Frankly, if McCain wins, I will seriously consider moving to Canada.

But is it the IQ of the toaster in ghostbusters!?

"Back off, man. I'm a scientist."

Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist. Especially if you think the moon landing was faked.

It is constitutionally prohibited for a president to serve more than two terms. If you really enjoy the bush policies of infinite war and economic stagnation, you should vote for John McCain. He is pretty much the same.

Universal healthcare and Health Insurance companies can coincide rocketpig. its what we have in australia.

My parents have health insurance and can see specialists and get treatments covered by that.

i dont. i saw the doctor yesterday. it didnt cost me a dime.
My partner had an operation. didnt cost a thing.
i cut my finger badly at home a few months ago. i went to a clinic for xrays, then a hospital to get it sewn up, and also had my blood works done, and i went home without a single bill. every western country other than the US has it (according to "Sicko")

universal healthcare isnt socilist, it isnt evil, its just there.

@damkira

Did you not see the reason I posted that?
