This would be relevant if it had DoAX2's sales numbers. It doesn't so it isn't.

VGC numbers so take them as you will, but better than no numbers at all.

DOAX had VGC sales estimates of 590k, 360k of which were in NA.

DOAX2 had VGC sales estimates of 250k, 140k of which were in NA.

It's almost a bit of mystery as to why KT is even continuing the franchise given the low and more importantly, declining sales figures, but my guess is that there are a lot of recycled resources being used from DOA5 and that they'll be continuing with the DLC heavy business model established with DOA5 (the cost of all the DLC far outweighs the original price of the $60 game).
