It's almost a bit of mystery as to why KT is even continuing the franchise given the low and more importantly, declining sales figures, but my guess is that there are a lot of recycled resources being used from DOA5 and that they'll be continuing with the DLC heavy business model established with DOA5 (the cost of all the DLC far outweighs the original price of the $60 game).
