When the Wii came out, you had to be shined upon by the light of God to find one. I wanted a Wii but I didn't actually get one until like June of 2007. At that time, they were selling out instantly. Even if you preordered, you had to wait for months.
Meanwhile, I had a Gamecube and I wanted to play Twilight Princess. I bought the Gamecube version. Since I had that version, I never played the Wii version as it retained it's full msrp (manufacturer's suggested retail price) for years.
