and Mac, and Linux. Probably Vista too, but that's 4th place as far as OSes, doing more to help Linux gain market share than anything....

Absolutely not.
Console controls for RTS suck. If they were planning on making a console version, they would need to design the interface from the ground up to support a controller for input. This would affect the design of the PC controls as well, making them dumbed down and suck too.
No way that a fast-pased RTS game like Starcraft can be done good on a console! If you consider yourself a rather good Starcraft player then you constantly use hotkeys... Something that consoles are lacking!
On top of that, sales for games on PC's have been slowing down for the last few years (with the exception of the Sims). Starcraft 2 is going to be one hell of a killer-app for the PC and thus it should remain exclusive to that platform!
Btw, Starcraft came to N64 as Starcraft 64... You can see that as proof that a game like Starcraft doesn't work on consoles. Although consoles have changed, games like LoTR: BFME are a different category of RTS games because Starcraft plays Totally different!
And I'm going to get myself a new PC for Starcraft II!

THE NETHERLANDS
DO NOT WANT!
The PS3 may support mouse and keyboard but how many people do you think are going to use it? Sure, the hardcore fans that aren't getting it for the PC might but the people that have never played SC before and just heard it's a cool game won't and will think the game is lame.
Remember, not everyone scours message boards and news sites at all hours of the day so they all don't know that mouse and keyboard is the only way to play an RTS.
So will this game require like really high system requirements to operate it?

Looking at the graphics the game ushers it will take a moderatly powerfull pc! Although one has to take into consideration that this is an RTS! RTS's don't need THAT much graphical power to perform good on a pc! I believe you can run Age of empires III on a pentium 3 console for example (although on the lowest settings)... My point is, if you have a computer that is from 2006 or newer, then your fine. Otherwise, you want to get a new one! And you REALLY want to get a new one! Because you don't want to miss out on this title! I think you can run Starcraft II on normal settings with an 800-100$ computer right out of the store without any enchancements on it.

THE NETHERLANDS
No. Leave it to PC.

Yep, that game alone should prefent Blizzard from getting a console-version out!

THE NETHERLANDS
only if i can play with KB&M and be able to filter and play with others using KB&M. Though even if they did that, the PC version would be superior in every possible way.
