Forums - Gaming - The 8 video game controllers even worse than Steam's

I found a new one today. Logitech's F310 was not designed for human hands. At least not if you want to use the triggers. Also worse shoulder buttons than those of the GC controller.

I'm surprised it's that bad. Sur, it does look rather cheap, but while I didn't try the F310, I do have the F710 and it is a very well made PC controller. Very good build quality and comfortable.

Still, the best PC controllers you can get now are the PS4 with DS4Windows, and XBox One controller.

I think they have the exact design so your hands are weird :P

Also best controller for PC will always be the DS3.

The original Atari 2600 controller is probably the reason so many people have arthritis today.  I remember putting it down between levels to smooth out my cramped fingers then grabbing it up right as the next level started.  An absolute killer during intense gameplay like Defender or Yar's Yars' Revenge.

Nah, man. The Wii U Pro controller + Mayflash adaptor crushes that cramp inducing DS3.

@OP: I have heard many good things about the SpaceOrb 360. Moving and aiming with a single hand. Incredible. Never had the pleasure of trying one myself, though.

Apparently, he never touched an Ouya. That controller makes the simplest tasks a chore. Luckily, you can swap it out for a PS3 controller. You need the touch pad for certain features and that thing is waaaaaaaaaaay too sensitive.

Most hate/confusion for the N64 controller stems from misunderstanding.

"Humans have two hands, you see, not three.
The N64 controller was designed with the aim of giving players two controller layouts on one pad"

The writer contradicts themselves by showing understanding for the design, right after complaining that we can't hold all of the controller at once.

"the GameCube, had a controller very similar to its PlayStation competition."

They do realise that the Playstation controller is more similar to the SNES controller?

For all it's flaws the N64 is at least very useable. Only time and Mario Party ruins the analog sticks, but new they were great. The Jaguar controller is a piece of ass and deserves more hatred.

Personally I think the writer is twisted. I loved the Hell out of the N64 controller.

said no one ever.

My hands are perfect. You're most likely the one who holds his controllers wrong. =P

This article and video already failed when it mentioned the N64 controller. That was a good controller, in fact, one of my favorites ever.
