Forums - Nintendo - Zelda fans, I have two big questions about TP hd.

Fair price for TP HD (not including amiibo)

$20 8 6.25%

$30 23 17.97%

$40 51 39.84%

$50 30 23.44%

$60 16 12.50%

Total:128

it's just the same game with hd textures and amiibo features, i'd rather just use an emulator with hd textures

You're psychic? Quick, what are tomorrow's lotto numbers?

Or, you know, you could realise that we've seen literally 5 seconds of gameplay and have no idea what changes might have been made?

From https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ob3oTKYqvxs0:57 onward in this video from the Direct there's the mini-map in the bottom left corner showing the lake in the west of Hyrule.

:O

Its been so long lol - so this means we'll get to use the pro controller right D:!?

Can't be a hundred percent sure but I'd think so, WWHD supported it at least.

Yes, it's mirrored from the Wii version, same as the GameCube version

I'm guessing $50 USD +/- Amiibo

if you watched the nintendo direct you can tell that it's basically the same with amiibo functionality, i don't care about a free camera or whatever, still isn't what I'm looking for.

In Europe probably around 40 euros, and I think that's ok price without Amiibo, white Amiibo and soundtrack probably 60.

$60 seems like a rip off for a remaster, especially since it doesn't look like there's any added content besides amiibo support.  $40 for the game and $50 for the game+amiibo sounds fair.

They actually said in the Direct that there would be more than in the old game, but that they would announce it at some point.

Also, the collectors edition comes with the soundtrack as well (at least in europe), so 60$ should definately be a fair price.

I also got this game at launch but I stopped playing after the 2nd Midna section because everything was just lame and missing all the Zelda magic. I cannot recommend to buy this game, Ocarina of Time is much better in any way. Even Skyward Sword is better. A fair price for a mediocre and heavily aged game with ugly outdated graphics and bad gameplay mechanics would be well under $20 if not much less.

There's actually a really easy way to tell, the reason they mirrored it was so Link's dominant hand matched that of most people playing, so if he's left handed it's based on GC, and if he's right, Wii. And in the trailer for HD he's left handed, so it's probably based on the GC version!

if your left handed link will be left handed in the wii version too. Im wondering almost nobody knew that.

Nintendo said there will be additional features. Amiibo is the only one of them at this time.

I agree that original game heavily aged, but we already saw that texture are looking much better, and game thase have some flaws (for me personally is big empty world) but saying that TP is "mediocre game with bad gameplay mechanic" is totaly BS. Even we can say that isn't best 3D Zelda game, it still one of the best games of 5th generation.

Also, Wii games on Wii U eShop have price of 20$, so you saying that TP HD needs to have price below that!? Again BS.
