Still seems slow to me. It kind of hangs every time I press left on the home screen to access the left menu. Also when I double tap the xbox button. Or maybe they just have too many monitoring layers running over this preview program that lag it up.

It could be. I wasn't in the program and I don't have any of those issues. Everything seems lightening quick to me.
From europe here. I will check it put when im home
I have been enjoying it for a month, at least. It's better but it took some getting used to. It was glitchy as heck, too. I probably sent a hundred (or maybe just four. I can't remember) reports to M$ about features that didn't work or froze the console.
I'm at work now but I can't wait to get home and fire up the final build.

I am get the same issues. So far the new update is pretty underwhelming. I don't like that oneguide is taking such a primary spot and there no way to turn it off.
Who is even using oneguide now? The new system does a poor job explaining how to use backward compability and I was not able to found borderlands in the store? Maybe borderlands is not added yet?
EDIT: Actually I forgot to mention the biggest new benefit of the new update, the achievement menu is much much better, they give in game stats and time spent playing in the achievement.
I woke up and noticed my X1 had a new UI. Pretty cool. Excited to experiment with it later

I actually used the One Guide a lot. It knows my favorite channels and shows. With that said, if somebody doesn't want to use certain features, they SHOULD be able to turn them off. Personally, I'd like to turn off the music tab.
As for BC, I've been using it for months and I've had the new interface for a while, too. The version I have is glitchy but I expect the update to improve it. Won't know until I get home, though. Any BC games you downloaded digitally will be waiting for you at "My Games and Apps" (if they've been added yet). If you want to buy a new one, as far as I know, you either have to go to Xbox.com and log in or buy them using an Xbox 360. You have to use the same account that bought them and you can't be on another Xbox 360 at the same time.
Hope that helps ya, Fox!
I HOPE they add a 360 space to the XB1 marketplace, soon. A way to divide your games into physical, digital, 360, and arcade would be nice too.
I was downloading before I went to school (probs done by now) I got to 53% in about 15 minutes
