Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

No it's not.

As much as you think it will be, without any directive it's not going to be much. Go and live your life, it will be more exciting.

 Why do you think that?

Because the developers said that. They said there isn't a story, it's just exploration, but without direction it will get old.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

I was under the impression that the Trilogy was supposed to be just that: a self contained story, that is over now.

But, money I guess.......

Well... that show nothing.

it looks intriguing. This will be the first mass effect game I'll play.

Erm, it was. This is an entirely different story with a different central plot and different characters located in a different galaxy. The only thing they really recycle is the name, and the species the Milky Way species that populated the trilogy, that are included in the game. This game could just be called Andromeda and have no connection to Mass Effect at all, except they'd probably have to start the game out with just humans heading towards Andromeda because it would be too tedious to construct lore for Milky Way species that you only meet a few individuals on your ship during the game. Better to spend time and effor tcreating lore for new species you meet in Andromeda.

Also, why does our galaxy have the lamest name in the universe? I think when we finally meet an alien species we should seriously consider renaming the galaxy to the translation of whatever they came up with.

There is a story and I watched most of the interviews. It's just a dry game about exploring and no direction. Ya can keep your head in the sand.

Yeah, I can't wait to see what kind of new species Bioware comes up with next for Andromeda and how the Milky Way species fits into/accepts the whole Andromeda lore.

You should take a look at how we've named other galaxies before saying that:

All things considered, "Milky Way" is not as bad as it could be.

Please excuse my bad English.

It was the first galaxy we discovered and named it based on what we could see which was a line of white stars. Considering most new galaxys and stars discovered are just given numbers, I'd say it's a pretty good name.

EDIT: See above.

Hmm, pie.
