depends on the person.  Some people hate remakes if they change the battle system or anything at all which I normally welcome as that's the point of a remake to me.

True. Most of the time I see people straight up just want graphical changes and no other changes but that kind of ruins the point of a remake in my eyes. At least makes some other minor changes.

Only if its done by a japanese devoloper to keep the artstyle, the gamecub remake allready didnt turned out so well.

My thoughts exactly.  As long as they don't change genres or deliberately dumb things down or something I'm usually fine with change.
