Love how people ignore the fact about WEEK one attach rates.....especially using Forza. Who had the smallest user base when released. Why would you use those numbers now? O.o If it out did Titanfall....why not just say highest attach rate of any Xbox exlcusive so far.

Guys, I figured it out: they're referring to Halo software and hardware, so each Halo 5 console bundle sold with a copy Halo 5.

That means the attach rate was 100%.

Edit: You're welcome.

using past VGC numbers for halo reach and halo 4 (assuming they are close to correct). USA+UK first week sales are roughly 70%-75% of first week sales.

the majority of sales of halo 5 will be coming from the USA and UK anyways, since XB1 sales suck pretty much everywhere else. while we wont get the entire sales data, we will get a pretty solild picture of how it did.

What assumptions should we be making about digital. It's the best selling digital game ever for ms.

Is that because it came with a digital code in the hardware bundle? That's quite a few digital sales which would not have happened if MS had put a physical copy in the bundle. It somewhat articifially inflates the digital sales compared to other games.

So for the week TF has a 5.98 (598%) attach rate. vs LTD hardware TF had a 23% attach rate. Again more to read into the statement. As they limit the statement to first party, not exclusive, it means there are almost certainly non-first party titles with a better attach rate. And since the TF LTD attach rate is 5%$ lower than Forza 5's LTD attach rate it strongly suggeststhey mean the attach rate for hardware sold in the launch period.

Sounds reasonable to me, pretty much everyone who bought an XB1 is going to get Halo

This wasn't true before and is not now. How do you come to this conclusion at all?

Considering almost 1/3 of the install base bought it in one week, I think that says alot

Currently most hyped for: FFXV and Zelda U

X1 has not sold 14 million units though so it does not matter the attach rate.

And you are so sure of this all knowing one? What are your estimates and how did you arrive at this please...

Xbox 360 and Xbox One

Obviously forza could be over tracked but the reverse is just as likely. All those people saying to sold less then 2 million got be on something.

2M? Not a chance it sold that loe. It sold too well in the US to be anywhere that. We had reports from the Walmart/Best Buy guy (abriel?) that Halo 5 was selling really really well. If it sold 4M+, why don't they just say? That's an impressive number. I really want to know the figure and still a bit skeptical it's 4M but I can't see it being lower than 2M

probably saving that info to counteract ps4 winning october npd.
