But 3DS has more demakes, therefore it's better.

Salty as always. And lying big time.

Majora´s Mask, Ocarina of time and Star Fox 64 are all superior in 3DS in almost every way to the original, so how are those "demakes"?

However Psvita is full of downgraded multiplatform games that run like shit. Have you take a look to RE: Revelations 2? Or Borderlands? Or Disney Infinity 3.0? Or almost any multiplatform game on Vita? What is really the "demake" console here?

A lovely case of pot calling the kettle black.

More is always better than less and quality is subjective. In other words, it depends on the person, granded that that person actually looks at the titles from a gamer's perspective and doesn't call everything on the console he doesn't like "shit".

They run like shit, and that is a fact, nothing subjective and nothing about perspectives, those 3 games that I mentioned run like shit on PSVita, they are heavily downgraded and have a terrible framerate (some of them are a complete disaster, Revelations 2 is a shame of a game on PSV), take a look to them, and they are only a little show of what is almost a trend in multiplatform games on PSV.  But I guess I have not a gamers perspective because I can see when a game runs like shit ...

Pretty much any Vita discussion on this website is plagued with "no games" if that is addressed it's "no exclusives"/"inferior cut down ports"/"nobody wants to play indie shit". This is exampled perfectly in this very thread.

The reason I stated GameCube was because of the hate it back back in the early 2000s, not how it is viewed now. (It's amazing how time can change perception, the Vita will be viewed in the same light in 10 years time I'd wager).

The Wii U has a very positive image overall on here from the main userbase. Certainly far better than the Vita image. However as I find anyone hating on Vita is generally very ignorant and clearly has had nowhere near the hands on experience with the system that they claim, if you can't find software you enjoy on Wii U, you've got a very limited scope for the type of games you play.

I still rate my Wii U over my PS4.

I severely doubt that: the Vita doesn't have games like Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Metroid Prime 1, Metroid Prime 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Sunshine (granted, it's a bit of a black sheep in the Super Mario family), Pikmin 1, Pikmin 2, Viewtiful Joe, Eternal Darkness, Soul Calibur II (best version imo), Animal Crossing and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Man, the GC was a beast! I can't see which Vita games will become that iconic or remembered in the future.

Not heard of Danganronpa, Ys Celceta, Freedom Wars, DJ MAXX, Gravity Rush, WipeOut 2048, Tearaway, Lumines ES, LittleBigPlanet, Demon Gaze, Muramasa (best version) Soul Sacrifice, New Little King's Story, Toukiden, Tales of Hearts R, Orishiki, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Killzone Mercenary. Yada yada without any digital only content.

Add in the "plus" enhanced ports and it has a handheld lineup without peer.

Man the Vita lineup is untouchable for diversity in the handheld arena.

Hey if your list is allowed ps2 games, let's chuck Final Fantasy X, Jak and Daxter, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Sly Cooper and God of War in too.

More importantly for me though is the definitive portable Need for Speed, FIFA, Assassins Creed, Borderlands, Disagaea, Warriors, Rayman WRC, Moto GP etc. But I play a lot of games on the go so the ability to play them means a lot more. I do think the Vita exclusives will be a lot more fondly looked back on though just like the Dreamcast catalogue is now.

Always interesting to note that the Vita Catalogue is compared against all systems, whilst the 3DS catalogue is held up purely against handheld releases. If it wasn't, pretty much every notable 3DS title would be disregarded due to superior home console versions of games. The Nintendo double standard remains strong.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Then you should look up the word "fact" because "run like shit" most certainly is subjective.

Oh wait... There is a superior homeconsole version of Fire Emblem Awakening, Luigi´s Mansion Dark Moon, A link Between World, Kid Icarus, Pokemon X/Y, Profesor Layton, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Phoenix Wright, Mario & Luigi Dream Team, Etrian Oddissey, Braverly Default and Monster Hunter 4 somewhere?? WHERE IS THAT CONSOLE I WANT IT NOW! xD

If a game has been heavily downgroded in every aspect and averages 20 fps, saying that its performance is bad is hardly subjective. Now that if you are saying that the words I used are not the best ones, then that´s another story and sorry for that, but the content is the same, weak ports with bad performances, that´s what I meant to say.

That's fine. Which is why I bolded "shit" for you. Something cannot be (or run like) factually "shit".

This game's average fps is 23: fact

This game's average fps is shit: subjective.

Someone may find 23 fps ok, another one may think it's sub-par, another shit, and another worse than shit. But whatever everyone's feelings or thoughts on the game's performance are, the fact remains that it runs at an average 23 fps.

@bolded Words such as "good", "bad", "shit" and similar adjectives that you can think of cannot describe something factually.

x game had shit sales: subjective (even if it was just 20k copies LTD)

x game sold 20k copies: fact

You may find such sales shit, another may think they're ok, and the company may think they're great. The only undisputed evidence (fact) is how much it has sold or shipped, since with shipments we can have precise numbers.

Do any of those games even sound remotely as iconic or good to you than the ones I mentioned? I have never heard of some of these games and a lot of these games bombed (and userbase can't be an excuse if you look at Tearaway: Unfolded's performance). The only game on my list that bombed was Viewtiful Joe. You can't seriously think that list equals mine in terms of critic/mainstream reception, popularity, longevity, sales, influence and impact in the gaming industry. I only mentioned one port (Soul Calibur II) because it has Link in it and it is one of my favorite franchises. I also forgot about Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes and Star Wars Rogue Leader. Not saying your list of games is bad, but learn to pick your battles I'd say!

Add in the "plus" enhanced ports and it has a handheld lineup without peer.

Man the Vita lineup is untouchable for diversity in the handheld arena.

Doubt it if that lineup was the best you could come up with.

Hey if your list is allowed ps2 games, let's chuck Final Fantasy X, Jak and Daxter, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Sly Cooper and God of War in too.

What PS2 games are on my list? Resident Evil 4 was built for the ground up for the GC and later ported to the PS2 (with inferior quality). 13 of the 15 games I mentioned aren't on the PS2 and the other two games are superior on the GC. And I know quite a few good multiplatform games I can still mention: Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 & 4, Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, SSX Tricky, SSX3, Prince of Persia: the sands of time, etc.

Including games like FF X and GoW is like including the Zelda collecter's edition for the GC which includes OoT (+ Master Quest) and MM.

More importantly for me though is the definitive portable Need for Speed, FIFA, Assassins Creed, Borderlands, Disagaea, Warriors, Rayman WRC, Moto GP etc. But I play a lot of games on the go so the ability to play them means a lot more. People aren't going to remember those games for their Vita ports.

Always interesting to note that the Vita Catalogue is compared against all systems, whilst the 3DS catalogue is held up purely against handheld releases. If it wasn't, pretty much every notable 3DS title would be disregarded due to superior home console versions of games. The Nintendo double standard remains strong.

3DS has many games that are built for the ground up for the system and thus there are no superior home console versions (with the exception of Super Smash Bros. 4). Your argument makes no sense. Oh and I'll take ALBW over Skyward Sword any day of the week if that's what you mean. I'm sorry but the Vita won't be remembered like the GC, I don't believe that for a minute. I think it's Nintendo's best home console (I never owned a NES or SNES though). It had better third party support than even the Wii imo.

"The strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must" - Thoukydides

Seems like the Vita has quite the list, and definitely a variety in terms of genre. Nothing that really compels me to purchase the system, or to supplement my current gaming options, but definitely a plus for people who own the platform.
