Why would people be offended? It's just that Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Halo, the PSVR and the HTC Vive each won an award. Lego, Guitar Hero, Anarcute and Shiness won the same awards too. Nobody made threads about it. The point is "Don't get too excited and don't read too much into it (AKA don't start with the Fallout and Dark Souls comparisons), becaude these awards are almost worthless (and I explained why)". That's all ^^.
You're trying to read way too much in other people comments again ;) (and please, don't talk about my "comments history"...)

Nobody is stopping you or anyone else to make threads about those games. Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Halo 5 all look like they will be great games (Halo 5 already is one of course!). The people bringing up Fallout in this thread are the people who say "No way can it beat Fallout" despite not having played both games. Bethesda is known for glitchy, buggy and poorly running games anyway. I find their games to be bad.

But if he is within driving distance, isn't all this fuss rather silly? It's easiest to post to forums on a PC, so if he posted during the show from his home PC - since he's within driving distance afterall - then he would obviously show as being in Belgium. But I digress, it's your prerogative.

Actually, The Game Awards last year were pretty good. Nice show, winners and nominees were sensible. Of course, that probably has to do with the show being much more independent than the VGAs were.
