About 12 months ago, it was almost unfathomable that Uncharted 4 would outsell Halo 5. I'm not going to necrobump a thread, but here is an eating crow link (for some):

People were also up in arms if someone disagreed that Halo MCC would sell 7+ million copies (currently at 2.6 million physical copies). I think without a doubt that Uncharted 4 will outsell Halo 5. Uncharted 4 may even double Halo 5 sales number.

In the UK, Halo 5 is the least selling Halo game in the 1st week (even sold less than Halo 3 ODST and less than half of Halo 4). Maybe Halo 5 perform well elsewhere, but the UK has typically mirrored the US in sales (more xbox360-centric).

Halo 5 may not meet sales expectation. I even got moderated by the super sensitive mods for suggesting that Halo 5 would be the biggest bomb of the year in an earlier thread.

I always said I felt like Halo was a over hyped game in the 7 gen... Maybe we'll see the proof this gen?

Lifetime globally... yes, it has a chance, but we'll have to wait and see cause the first major Halo of the generations usually has good legs too.
