He's only talking about HIS retail outlet though. He's likely right in what he's saying. All he's doing is reporting on how it's going for 'him'. Have you got any idea what retailer he works for?

Are you sure? I thought cornbread was target or something; whereas, Abdiel is BB.  

Either way, console sales will differ per metropolis. I think xb1 owns the east coast and ps4 the west...

Yeah ps4 is beating the x1 at best buy online.

Im wondering, how is the ratio between Online purchases vs Retail purchases?

I for one, bought a Ps4 and Xbox One thru Amazon this month only.

I was just thinking exactly the same thing. I'm wondering how those videos from last year could have affected the purchasing habits this year.

Also I don't think sales on black Friday itself are that important when deals last through the whole weekend. Just came from bestbuy and its busy but not packed. Why rush in unless you are trying to get a door buster deal. Also with the advent of free shipping why go in at all.

Also there will be plenty of UC bundles if Sony was worried about stock they wouldn't of lowered the price. Also they have raised their shipment forcast by 2 million since the beginning of the fiscal year. The price is low because they have the stock to meet the expected demand of a price drop.

I can't help wondering about that Kinect bundle. People are going to spend time setting that up for motion control and probably enjoy the novelty of scrolling through the menus using motion control. Then they're going to update with the latest firmware only to find they can no longer use motion control. Isn't that going to annoy quite a few people that bought it?
