I believe that statement because Cornbread is a reliable source, but Cornebread isn't representative of the complete picture. Have we ever had a PS4 console at number 1 in the charts before, let alone for nearly a full day so far?

PS4 did 840k, doing 1M would still be up YoY. Not that that YoY thing matters cause the X1 has been up so far and will definitely be down in Nov+Dec (no argument here).

Just saw the news reporting on some BF locations.. there were people slapping each other rather aggressively over what looked like some smartphones, lol. These peeps be cray cray.

Only when it was announced 2+ years ago if i recall correctly. After the reveal, it managed to get to the 1st place on the Amazon Top 100 and stayed there for a while.

The fact that it is sitting at the 1st place again makes me believe that this guy is wrong imo. Actually both consoles are selling really really great.

But honestly, im basing my opinion about the fact that he saying that it will sell less than last year. I dont know if the amount that he is saying is too high or not. Is 1 million consoles too much for holidays?

I wonder if this is going to confuse the rankings for the month. Because the physical bundle is only just now available it might not get really high in the monthly rankings, and it could possibly mean the Gears bundle winds up being the top ranked console for the month. But the 2 NDC skus combined could be higher than the Gears Bundle. So possible that Amazon could be wrong this month if Gears bundle is number 1 sku for the month but PS4 wins NPD.

Funny that both consoles have the highest selling skus as last gen remaster bundles.

He's only talking about HIS retail outlet though. He's likely right in what he's saying. All he's doing is reporting on how it's going for 'him'. Have you got any idea what retailer he works for?

Bestbuy.  He will probably do a check across the whole district or a few districts tonight or tomorrow and give us the wider best buy picture.

Thanks. It's not a small outlet then, although wasn't the PS4 leading on the online Bestbuy store?

edit: 4 PS4 bundles are ahead of the XB1 bundles.

I went to gamestop to pick up mario party 10 and it was insane there. The store is small but there were like 50 people. Also it seems like the 360 is still selling.
