If anyone is wondering what this post is in relation to, it's related to a post I originally made above. It was a deal By MS and I mentioned I think it's a bad thing for the industry to offer ridiculous bundles every Christmas because it sets up the last quarter of the year for a slump while people wait for the deals.
Just wanted to clarify that. It's not that I agree with this response but I just wanted to give it context so this poster doesn't get attacked for being off topic. Attack the points made, not the poster.
It's got nothing to do with teh 'new generation' of gamers. I'm much older than you and have seen more generations than you. A healthy market means more games and better games. By driving expectations higher every year, MS are effectively making it an unsustainable market (if it affects it in the long run).
