From those pics, it's definitely not the prettiest game this generation.

The game doesnt look great at all and its 30fps 1080p on both platforms

I dont understand the complaints about graphics though.... those dont look like last gen consoles fallouts.

These have done nothing to allay my suspicion that Fallout 4 was originally going to be a last gen game but they decided to delay it and bring it out on current gen systems. This actually DOES look like a last generation game. It might play brilliantly but those graphics are awful.

Good enough for me. Big BGS fan and I know what to expect. Skyrim didn't compare to the graphic juggernauts either. This is a cut above Skyrim in all aspects with better lighting and more onscreen detail in terms of stuff in a given scene. Which is good enough for me. If the 30fps is locked/stable on PS4 I'll be satisfied. Of course I'll get the PC version myself. Also, I really like how they went for a more saturated look with a more realistic range of color. That green haze in Fallout 3 was a cool way to convey decay but really wore out its welcome fast.

Atleast the view distance seems far, and theres little to no alisasing to see (no jaggies).

On the PS3 version of fallout3, there was jaggies aplenty, and shorter view distances than the PC.

A big differnce between pc & console.

This game, the PC version will probably look almost identical to the ps4 version.

Okay theres still jaggies <.< those powerlines..... oh well.

A lot of resources probably went into the character creator. So they decided to not really do much improvements to the games engine, or improve map quality.

The graphics look fine to me, but it's the 30 FPS that bothers me and after the graphics reveal. Knowing Bethesda it's because of the insane amount of items that will be in the game..and potential onslaught of bugs.
