Havnt played it yet, I got the retail version of it though (which is beautiful I must say). Already hard to find, looks like it is going be rare.

Hope I can pick up a copy here in Germany. Been busy Friday and saturday and now the shops are shut :(
So, I played the demo, too.
The atmosphere is pretty good, sometimes scary, but not terrorizing.
Sound design is excellent and maybe my favourite aspect of the game. But you have to know that i'm an "audio fanatic", I've spent more money for my best in-ears than the Wii U for example.
The visuals do their job, the character models are pretty good, but there are some bad textures.
Controls are kinda old school (Resident Evil 4 comes to mind), but I had no problems with them. I've set the sensitivity to the max, but I always do that when no precise aiming is required. The GamePad aiming works very well.
Combat is fun, but that's a problem in a horror game in my opinion. It's not stressful or terrorizing, maybe later in the game. There was no threat to die at all because one hit doesn't cause much damage and there is lots of supply of health and film rolls. But the fun combat is good for replayability, I've seen on miiverse that many are hunting for highscores and most people wouldn't do that in a game that is uncomfortable to play.
